Nobody is perfect, and I think we should learn to accept our imperfections. I believe that life is truly a journey that we should enjoy. We may have failures but in the end there is always a better result because of this failure. It is very important for us to take the risks even how hard it is because once we overcome it, it will be for our own good as well. Setting goals is very helpful as you determine that your life has a direction and you see yourself facing the storms in life without fears. Link: What Is So Good About Failure? Mark McGwire had suffered the consequences of his action. As a player, you should know how to practice honor and sportsmanship. Taking steroids is unfair for your competitor as well as to yourself. This would only show that you don't have the courage to face the game by yourself. If unexpected things happen, then you should accept it. This could open you to other opportunities in life. Don't push yourself to the limit to the extent that you do something bad for yourself and to others. Don't ever let the devil take your decisions in life.Link: The Devil and Mark McGwire (baseball); Sports

This inspirational story works as a great reminder to us all of the importance of not placing limitations based on your circumstances, past experiences, or any labels placed on us by others. This story of a former prisoner turned entrepreneur is the story of someone who believed in themselves and the good in them, and decided to pursue it, and works to show the above concept. I love to hear this kind of stories of prisoners who try to do something with themselves while in prison or once they have left, proving that they are just like the rest of us in many ways.Link: Texas Prisoners Prepped for Entrepreneurship (second ch

I was enlightened reading the article about the encounter of Mark McGwire with the Devil. It is kind of unusual but how could we, ordinary people, face such kind of situation? McGwire was strong enough to express himself as well. It gave me a good impression with the batting coach for the St Louis Cardinals, and I know that despite the fame he faces now, he will still be brave to face the challenges in life, and prove that he deserves what he gets. I admire his totality as a person actually.Link: The Devil and Mark McGwire (baseball); Sports

This is a great way to add an opinion piece on events that happened. Rather then write a strictly opinion piece that sounds journo, write it in a creative way like this to get the same point across. Reading this didn't feel like reading and actually I got a bit lost in the moment of it. This style of writing also brings in the emotion of it all rather than the misguided objective of writing objectively too. Great piece of work.Link: The Devil and Mark McGwire (baseball); Sports

Anyone would definitely see God's hands in this miraculous story. The writer's baby brother was born with multiple illnesses but managed to survive and last for 10 days, which is already a miracle considering his health condition. In his very short life span, this baby managed to bring their family together and enabled them to see the value and beauty of life and family. God certainly sent this baby to wake up this family. We really don't know and fully understand His will but we should just believe that it would always be for the best. Link: Miracles do Happen (inspiration); Exploring Life Articl

I have never been a baseball fan. Too slow moving for me. And I never got the opportunity to go to a game which might have given me a little first hand experience to base any fan feelings on. But fiction I love, and when someone can combine fiction and fact, that'll grab me. A short anecdote with a fictional conversation between Mark Mcgwire and the Devil about a contract promising fame for steriods was both entertaining and attracting. I just might take a passing interest in the next baseball game. Link: The Devil and Mark McGwire (baseball); Sports

I think that this should serve as a lesson for everyone. We all have to think that there are circumstances in our lives that should not be joked around. Just like what Gilbert Gottfried did. I mean, that disaster in Japan was something very serious and during that time, the people were still grieving and still were going through a lot. I just think that he deserved to be fired to serve him a lesson. He should responsible for his actions and so well are others.Link: Bad Joke - Bad Timing (Part 2) (joke); Political Articl
